Profiles

Preqin Pro is built upon comprehensive data held on the private asset activity of investment firms. Our research teams in key global financial centers combine on-the-ground intel with innovative technology. We deliver exclusive, forward-looking, in-depth information on:

  • GPs

  • LPs

  • Funds

  • Companies & assets

  • Deals

  • Fund & transactional service providers

Here’s an overview of how to navigate a profile effectively.

Accessing a Profile

Getting to a profile is simple.

If you know the name (or part of the name) of the firm or asset you are looking for, start typing in the Quick Search box in the top navigation bar.

If you’re not looking for any specific entity, it’s best to use Search For. Learn more about Search For and how to apply filters, manage your results, and find profiles here.

Preqin Profiles are designed to rapidly surface key information. The navigation is the same in every type of profile, but there are variations in the data fields between different types of profiles – for example, between an LP or GP profile. Note that only the information you have access to per the terms of your subscription will appear in a profile.

SHARE, PRINT, ASK FOR HELP, AND GIVE FEEDBACK

Use the tabs at the top of the profile to get to a new section and the left navigation to jump to particular tiles within the section. Common elements which can be found next to the profile name include:

  • Share: Sends the profile to another Preqin user on your account. Your colleague will receive a link to the profile in an email.

  • Print: Customize a print-ready profile.

  • Export: Prepare a Word document of the profile.
