Sustainability Fund Labels & Themes
Create lists of funds and fund managers that align with your mandates by applying sustainability fund label filters and criteria to your searches. Labels and themes include SFDR articles 8 & 9, climate, SDGs, energy transition, Sharia, and more.
To create a list or search using Sustainability Fund Labels and Themes, click on ‘Search For’, ‘Funds’, or ‘Fund Manager” and then select ‘Advanced Search’ in the dropdown menu. From the advanced search list page, click on the “More Filters” and select ‘Sustainability’. Then you will have the option to select Sustainability Labels, themes, UN SDG alignment and Controversial Industries.
Management Sustainability Indicators
Conduct due diligence on 55k+ GP profiles. View fund managers' level of disclosure on sustainability governance, policies, and practices to understand their level of sustainability disclosure, and alignment with your objectives.
To create a list that includes this information or find it via a search, go to ‘Search for’, then select ‘Fund Managers’ in the menu. On the results page select the ‘Sustainability’ filter and the dropdown menu will display the Management Indicators and sustainability-related affiliations for you to include/exclude in your search criteria.
To find management sustainability indicators for a specific fund manager, open the fund manager profile and click on the Sustainability tab. The Management Indicators section will show a list of disclosed practices, if available.

Sustainability Regulatory Disclosures
Unlock insights into fund managers’ sustainability regulatory disclosures with transparency at firm-level including SFDR Article 3, SFDR Article 4 and SFDR Article 5.
To access this in Preqin Pro, search for ‘Fund Managers’, then click ‘By Sustainability’. Open a fund manager profile and click the Sustainability tab. The regulatory disclosures will be listed in this section if available.
Affiliations and Memberships
Analyze fund managers’ third-party sustainability memberships and evaluate their sustainability commitments.

Sustainability Fund Performance Benchmarks
Leverage the benchmarks in Preqin Pro to understand the performance of Sustainability-labeled funds and themes. This information can help with sourcing fund managers with relevant experience.
Access the Sustainability Fund Performance Benchmarks by clicking on ‘Search For’, ‘Performance’, and then ‘Market Benchmark’. Then open the ’Strategy’ filter to choose the sustainability-related benchmark labels and themes you would like to include in your selection.
Financial Materiality Assessments at the asset-level
Identify sustainability factors that pose a risk to an investment’s financial health with financial materiality assessments at the company level.
To find this information, open a fund’s profile and click on the Sustainability tab. The information will be displayed in the ‘Financial materiality’ section if it is available for the fund you have selected.
Sustainability Benchmarks at the asset-level
Access sustainability benchmarks at scale for sponsor-backed companies to help with sustainability reporting, deal sourcing, market research, portfolio analytics, and risk management.
To access the benchmarks, go to the benchmarks menu and select ‘Sustainability Benchmarks’.
You can choose benchmarks for three metrics: scope 1 carbon emissions, scope 2 carbon emissions, and scope 3 carbon emissions. Filter specific sectors, locations, and normalization for better comparisons across companies.
Click on a sustainability benchmark to see the list of companies included in the benchmark along with their reported data and additional profile details.
Non-anonymized Sustainability Data at the asset-level Review reported sustainability data aligned with industry frameworks to ensure consistent data across portfolios and make like-for-like comparisons. Sustainability data for 15 metrics can be reviewed where available.
To find this data, navigate to a company profile and click on the Sustainability tab.

Physical climate risk analytics
Preqin includes Aladdin Climate’s Geospatial Hazard Risk Analytics across real estate assets. This integration gives you an understanding of physical climate risks impacting real estate assets and enables risk analysis and comparative insights to guide asset selection and portfolio strategy.
To find this information, open a real estate asset profile and click the ‘Sustainability’ tab to view the physical climate risk analytics if they are available for the selected asset.

Estimated carbon emissions and energy consumption
Preqin has partnered with Measurabl to enable you to review estimated carbon and energy consumption data and benchmarks for 84,000+ buildings worldwide.
To find this information, open a real estate asset profile and click on the Sustainability tab. If the information is available for the selected asset, you will be able to view:
Estimated carbon emissions to compare GHG emissions intensity over time against benchmarks at both global and country levels.
Estimated energy consumption to compare energy usage intensity over time against benchmarks at both the global and country levels.
