Tohoku Innovation Capital Corporation (TICC) is a hands-on venture capital firm based in Sendai, Japan. The firm seeks to vitalize regional economy in the Tohoku region of Japan by providing venture capital to local venture businesses. It targets promising local ventures with competitive core technologies including seed to early stage start-ups that are commercializing technologies born out of local universities. The firm remains sector agnostic and invests across a wide spectrum of sectors including electronics, manufacturing, bio, medical and IT/software.
