Founded in 1991 by Sir Mark Weinberg and the late, Mike Wilson, St. James's Place Unit Trust Group is a Gloucestershire-based hedge fund manager. The firm offers unit trusts and bonds, allowing investors to aggregate their resources for collaborative investment approaches. Additionally, it underscores the significance of personalized financial guidance that is adapted to the goals and circumstances of individual clients. Sir Mark founded the St. James's Place Group with Mike Wilson and Lord Rothschild in 1991 and chairman of the company until September 2004, when he resigned from the board and appointed as president of the company. He chaired the investment committee until July 2011. Sir Mark originally practiced as a barrister and former deputy chairman of the securities and investments board, the forerunner to the Financial Conduct Authority.
