Established in 1979, Shuaa is a UAE-based fund manager that invests in real estate, private equity, and private debt strategies. The firm's real estate arm specializes in the acquisition and development of real estate assets and the management of private real estate funds. The firm focuses on high-end residential, office, retail, warehousing, and hospitality, with a primary regional focus across the MENA region, the United Kingdom, and Eastern Europe. Shuaa is also active in private debt and is currently raising funds with a primary focus on the GCC region. The firm used to be active in the private equity asset class, but in November 2011, it began to wind down private equity operations, and it is no longer active. Shuaa has amassed experience in private equity investments for over 20 years across the MENA region and Europe. The firm had an industry focus in sectors like hospitality, financial services, telecommunications, information technology, packaging, and food and beverages. Shuaa Partners' investment focus was the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. In 2019, Abu Dhabi Financial Group (ADFG) and Shuaa Capital signed an agreement to merge their business under the firm's name Shuaa Capital.Read more ⏷
