Parker Global Strategies

Founded in Q4 of 1995, Parker Global Strategies (PGS) was a Connecticut-based hedge fund management firm. It was used in the direct investment of publicly traded US energy infrastructure through Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs) and acted as a manager of managers for mandates involving foreign exchange (FX), macro and energy. PGS has also built a suite of investable manager indices for foreign exchange, macro, and tail risk strategies. The firm's first mandates were for customized foreign exchange solutions from several major banks and public pensions to build portable alpha strategies. In 1998, it entered into the fund of hedge fund (FoHF) business and have more recently sought to capitalize on global growth in the energy and natural resources markets, and in 2003 began researching the areas along with environmental investing.
