Milestone Capital Management (Milestone) is a China-focused private equity investment and advisory firm with its main offices in Shanghai and Beijing. It invests in established, expanding companies that have a large growth potential. Milestone requires board representation and shareholder protection accordingly to its stakes in respective companies. While it has no preference towards the proportion of its stakes, the firm typically invests between USD 10 million to USD 100 million per company and RMB fund fund. Milestone focuses on businesses with sustainable business models and strong management teams. Companies should also have good financial and operating track records and established themselves as market leaders in respective fields. In the post-investment period, Milestone adopts a close working relationship with the management of the team in areas such as strategy & business planning, recruitment, and governance. It taps on its network of advisors and executives to provide value-added support to investee companies financially and strategically. Milestone will exit investments via IPOs on overseas stock exchange.
