Cresco Finance Group is a Russia-based hedge fund manager founded in 2009 by Mikhail Alyonushkin and Andrey Syrchin. The firm flagship strategy, Cresco Absolute Return Fund, is a global event driven multi-strategy fund with a focus on post-catalyst (earnings, calls, corporate actions) situations. The range of instruments used for trading includes bonds, stocks, stock options, CFDs, ETFs, as well as commodities and indices futures. Its investment process is highly systemized and the PM adopts a largely rule-based approach. The investment philosophy is the result of a top-down, disciplined approach focused on liquidity and its investment team puts a strong focus on the liquidity of the instruments used, in order to allow for efficient implementation of its allocation decisions.
