Credit Suisse is a Swiss investment bank and financial services company that operates on a global scale. The bank was originally founded with the name Schweizerische Kreditanstalt (SKA, Swiss Credit Institution) and has its headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland. Credit Suisse has three divisions, namely, asset management, investment banking and private banking. In June 2019, Credit Suisse Asset Management expanded its alternatives activity and began acting as a real estate fund of funds manager. As of June 2023, UBS has completed its acquisition of Credit Suisse. The combined entity now operates as a consolidated banking group.
