Established in January 1997, B. Riley Capital Management (BRCM) is a California-based fund of hedge fund manager. BRCM serves as the general partner of BRC Emerging Managers Fund of Funds, a Delaware limited partnership structured as a fund of hedge funds. It also manages the MKCA Opportunity Fund. As of August 1, 2014, B. Riley Asset Management (BRAM) was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Great American Group, Inc, according to an acquisition agreement dated May 19, 2014, between Great American Group and B. Riley & Co. Holdings LLC (among others), the former sole owner of BRAM.
