AG Capital (formerly known as African Gateway Capital) is a South Africa-based hedge fund manager founded in August 2010 by Garreth Montano, Julian Woolley, and Kevin Thomas. Prior to founding AG Capital, Montano set up and managed a South Africa-based hedge fund for Investec while Woolley and Thomas were managing Storm Securities, an equity and derivatives trading firm they helped co-found in 2001.
