Since the launch in May, we have added credit facility terms to give you visibility of the level of adoption in private markets, what the credit facilities are secured against, and the level of indebtedness or cap in this regard. We also added a Fund Coverage tab that gives a clear overview of the types of funds that make up the Term Intelligence benchmarks with a breakdown of funds by asset class, strategy, vintage, and fund size.
In 2025, we will continue to add more LPA data to the benchmarks to provide a comprehensive view of the market.

Transaction Intelligence uses Preqin’s deal-level and asset-level data collected directly from GP portfolio reports. This data is then verified, curated, aggregated, and anonymized to give you access to the most up-to-date, reliable, and complete repository of transactions in private markets. Provide your clients with the most accurate guidance on deals with Transaction Intelligence – a new, unique tool enabling you to go beyond fund-level performance with asset-level and deal-level data in an easy-to-use, customizable format.
This empowers you to benchmark private companies against a selected cohort of similar transactions by using a broad range of filters and pre-built analytics, save time on valuation audits without compromising the quality, and easily identify high-performing industry sectors for your clients to invest in.
Since its inception, Transaction Intelligence has added fair value adjustment data, bringing more transparency to asset pricing and helping you understand whether adjustments made to private asset valuations are in line with the rest of the market. This year also brought the addition of net debt multiples data in Transaction Intelligence to help fund financing due diligence by understanding the average net debt of a cohort of companies to effectively value an asset.

Easily review Preqin data on the firms you’re targeting by uploading your lists and assessing their future plans, fund details, existing service provider relationships, and more.
Easily track personnel changes on your target lists
See the latest key personnel changes at the firms in your target lists with Preqin Pro’s ‘Contact Updates’ feature. The update enables you to quickly identify new business opportunities by staying informed on key personnel changes. With this feature you can easily maintain up-to-date contact information for your marketing and outreach activities, including emails.
It also enables you to gain insight into your competitors’ hiring trends and strategic moves, helping you to make informed decisions and stay ahead in the market.
Company Intelligence
Identify actionable companies by fund performance
The addition of fund performance filters to Company Search enables you to find potential investments likely to come to market soon based on the performance of the fund they’re in. Boost your clients’ deal origination by searching for companies with added filters such as DPI, IRR, and net multiple, in conjunction with existing filters for holding period, fund vintage, and fund size.
More bootstrapped companies to boost your deal origination
Enhance your new business pipeline with an additional dataset of 21,000+ UK-based bootstrapped companies. This new dataset includes companies generating £1mn+ in turnover and with a minimum of three years of consecutive financial filings to help you advise your clients on investment opportunities that present high potential for value creation.
Navigate to Company Search in Preqin Pro and select ‘Non-sponsor-backed’ under the ‘Funding Type’ section in ‘More filters’ to explore these new companies.
