US-based financial services company Ally Financial has expanded Dan Ignacio’s role as Executive Director, Investor Relations and Corporate FP&A to include Head of Investor Relations as part of leadership changes on its Investor Relations and Consumer Servicing Operations teams.
Life Insurance Corporation of India has appointed Shatmanyu Shrivastava as CFO, replacing Sunil Agrawal. Shrivastava most recently served as Executive Director for Enterprise Risk Management and CRO.
US-based Markel Insurance has hired Abbas Choker as CFO, APAC. He joins from AIG, where he was Regional Head of Financial Planning and Analysis for APAC.
Norfund, a Norway-based investment management firm, has appointed Mark Davis as its first CIO, with Bjørnar Baugerud stepping into Davis’ previous role as Executive Vice President for Renewable Energy.
Acclaim Wealth, an Australia-based wealth manager, has appointed Aimie West as COO. She most recently served as the firm’s Head of Adviser Services.
US-based Ameritas Life Insurance Corporation has promoted Bob MacDonald to Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning.
Chicago-based Conagra Foods Pension Plan’s Executive Vice President and COO, Tom McGough, will retire in September, with the role being eliminated following his departure. Burke Raine will assume the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer.
Miami-based non-profit Knight Foundation has appointed Alex Meza as CFO and Treasurer. He joins from Gannett, where he was Vice President of Corporate Development.
Massachusetts-based fire insurance company Quincy Mutual has appointed Gerald F. Cox as President and CEO, succeeding Thomas A. Harris. He joins from Hiscox USA, where he was CFO.
Truist Wealth, a US-based wealth manager, has appointed Shimna Sameer as Head of Truist Wealth, effective October. She joins from Bank of America Private Bank.
Ardian, a Paris-based private investment firm, has appointed François Jerphagnon as Executive Vice-President of Ardian Holding and CEO of Ardian France, and Marion Calcine as Executive President of Ardian France and Executive Vice President of Ardian Holding, both effective at the end of September. Marie-Victoire Rozé will join the Executive Board of Ardian France, while Mathias Burghardt will oversee the firm’s infrastructure platform.
Lazard Asset Management has appointed Chris Bricker as Head of Corporate Development and Theodore P. Enders as Head of Product. Bricker joins from AllianceBernstein, where he was Head of Corporate Development. Enders joins from Goldman Sachs, where he was Head of CIO Portfolio Strategy.
Macquarie Group, a Sydney-based asset manager and investment bank, has appointed Greg Ward as Managing Director and CEO, effective November and succeeding Shemara Wikramanayake. Ward is currently Head of Banking and Financial Services.
Sixth Street has opened an office in Abu Dhabi and appointed Ahmed Ismail as Managing Director in its capital formation and strategy team. He will lead the firm’s regional build-out and capital formation efforts in the Middle East.
Westaim, a Canada-based insurance and alternative asset manager, has appointed Andrew Rabinowitz as CEO of its operating business Arena and its subsidiaries, in addition to his existing roles including President at Arena.
US-based fund manager AE Industrial Partners has named Rear Admiral (Ret.) Leonard Dollaga as an Operating Partner. The former US Navy Chief of Legislative Affairs will support portfolio strategy and customer development, and help assess national security investment opportunities.

UK-based property developer Robertson Group has appointed Katherine Mackintosh as Managing Director of Robertson Property.
Simpson Housing, a US-based real estate investment manager, has named Jason Kern as President and CIO. He most recently served as President of Investment Management at Cortland.
Baker McKenzie has appointed Jeffrey Goldman as a Partner in its transactional practice based in Palo Alto.
Cleary Gottlieb has added Lin Yu as a Partner in its derivatives practice in New York. She was previously an Americas Managing Director at both Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse.
Freshfields has appointed Keith Hallam as a Partner in its M&A and corporate practice in New York.
Jones Day has expanded its financial markets practice with the appointments of Harjeet Lall and Charlotte Lewis-Williams as Partners in London, and Hope Schall as Of Counsel in Dallas. Nicholas Dunstone joins as a Partner in its business restructuring and reorganization practice in Sydney.
Kirkland & Ellis has hired Kelsey Baumberger as a Partner in its debt finance practice in New York. Dan Prieto and Amanda Rush have been hired as Partners in its restructuring group in Dallas.
McDermott Will & Schulte has appointed Jonathan Feiler as a Partner in its transactions practice group. He joins from Blackstone, where he was COO and Managing Director of its multi-strategy investing platform.
Paul, Weiss has hired Rachel Phillips as a Partner in its capital markets group in New York.
Simpson Thacher has appointed Stephanie Marshak as Partner in its capital structure solutions practice. She advises companies, hedge funds, and private equity firms on debt-related matters, including restructurings, liability management, and special situations.
JP Morgan's North America-based investment bank branch has hired Shawn Hoyer and Marc Brown as Managing Directors on its Global Banking Venture Capital Coverage team. Hoyer’s move follows a 20-year career at Bank of America covering venture capital and technology.
Regions Bank has named Chris Claybrook as Nashville Market President, effective January 2027. He will succeed Lee Blank, who is retiring after 43 years at the bank.
