A round-up of the latest private markets people moves globally
CalPERS has promoted Justin Scripps to Managing Investment Director for global fixed income. He has been with CalPERS for nearly two decades and most recently served as an investment director in private debt. Scripps will manage the pension fund’s global fixed income portfolio, which includes investment-grade and high-yield corporate securities, foreign sovereign debt, securitized products, and US Treasuries.
Dutch healthcare pension fund PFZW has appointed Cateautje Hijmans van den Bergh as independent chair of the board. She will succeed Joanne Kellermann, who is stepping down after more than seven years. She was previously a board member of the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets.
Switzerland-headquartered Pictet Wealth Management has appointed Kelvin Tay as CIO Asia, based in Singapore. He will lead macroeconomic research across major Asian economies and develop Asia-focused investment strategies contributing to the firm’s global asset allocation. Tay was formerly CIO South Asia Pacific at UBS Wealth Management.
New York-based middle-market private equity firm Blue Wolf Capital Partners has appointed Vanessa Generelli as CFO. Generelli joins from a single-family office, where she was Senior Controller. Before that, she was Director of Finance at One Rock Capital Partners.
Healthcare-focused private equity firm Frazier Healthcare Partners has appointed Milton Boyer as an Executive in Residence in its Growth Buyout team. Boyer most recently served as CEO of Kindeva Drug Delivery, and previously led SCA Pharmaceuticals and Oso BioPharmaceuticals Manufacturing.
General Atlantic, a global asset manager, has appointed Novak Djokovic as Global Strategic Advisor. Djokovic will work with the firm’s leadership, portfolio companies, and investors, drawing on his experience as a professional athlete, investor, and entrepreneur. Djokovic has won 24 Grand Slam singles tennis titles and an Olympic Gold medal.
European private equity firm IK Partners has opened a Madrid office and appointed Gonzalo Fernandez-Albiñana as Partner and Head of Spain and Portugal. Fernandez-Albiñana joins from Ardian, where he was Managing Director in the Buyout Fund in Spain. He has also held senior investment roles at Investindustrial and 3i Group. Alejo Lopez-Balcells, Associate Director in IK’s Mid Cap Investment team, is relocating to Madrid to support investment activity across Iberia.
Inflexion, a European mid-market private equity firm, has announced 42 promotions across its 200-plus team. Tom Pemberton has been appointed Head of Enterprise while continuing to lead the firm’s Consumer sector, and Freddy West has been named Inflexion’s first Chief People Officer. Sachin Mitra, James Stevens, and Freddy West have also been promoted to Partner.
Alternative investment firm Strategic Value Partners has appointed Jean-Baptiste de Boissieu as Managing Director and a member of its European Investment Team in London. He will focus on pan-European liquid credit, private credit, restructurings, and special situations. De Boissieu joins from Davidson Kempner, where he was a Managing Director, and has held roles at Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers.
Texas-based real estate investment firm Hawkeye Partners has appointed Jennifer Ciullo and Greg Moran as Partners. Ciullo joins as Head of Client Solutions from Greystar Real Estate Partners, where she was Global Head of Capital Formation. Moran joins as Head of GP Solutions after roles at FrontRange Capital Partners and Ares Real Estate Income Trust. He will lead Hawkeye’s strategic capital initiative with real estate operators and developers.
Cleary Gottlieb has appointed Nathan McKinnon as a Partner in its Global Funds practice in London and Emmanuel Enrici as a Partner focused on M&A in Paris. McKinnon advises on fund formation across private credit, private equity, infrastructure, and joins from Fried Frank, where he was a Partner. Enrici advises sponsors on private equity transactions, including large-cap buyouts, carve-outs, and exits. He joins in late July from Kirkland & Ellis.
Debevoise & Plimpton has appointed Andrea Hwang as a Partner in its Leveraged and Corporate Finance practice in New York. Hwang advises private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and corporate borrowers on acquisition financings, recapitalizations, and asset-based credit facilities. She joins from the New York office of Ropes & Gray.
Dechert has appointed Leonard Klingbaum and Jennifer Harris as Partners in its special situations finance, liability management, and distressed capital markets practice. They both join from Ropes & Gray. Klingbaum, based in New York, will head the firm’s new cross-disciplinary capital solutions team, while Harris is located in Los Angeles.
Massumi + Consoli has appointed Michael R. Miller as a Partner in its New York office. Miller advises private equity sponsors and portfolio companies, with particular depth in healthcare, on transactions including leveraged buyouts, platform and add-on acquisitions, carve-outs, divestitures, and cross-border investments. He joins from Goodwin and before that practiced at Kirkland & Ellis.
Weil, Gotshal & Manges has appointed Fiona Cumming as a Partner in its Finance practice in London. Cumming joins from A&O Shearman, where she was private capital sector co-lead and co-head of global fund finance. She advises financial institutions and credit funds on subscription line, NAV and hybrid facilities, GP and management company financings, and derivative financing solutions.
Dublin-based fund administrator Waystone has appointed Richard Larnder as Chief Financial Officer. Larnder will lead the firm’s financial strategy and brings more than 20 years of experience across financial strategy, governance, capital management and M&A. He joins after senior roles at Aztec Group, Equiom Group, Värde Partners and EY.
Langham Hall, a UK-based fund administrator, has appointed Richard Li as Group Chief Financial Officer. Li will oversee budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, tax, treasury, governance and regulatory relationships, and lead the global finance team. He brings finance and operational experience from Kroll, KPMG and BDO.
Fund administrator Ocorian has promoted Andy Bailey to Country Head for Guernsey. He joined in 2025 and has served as Head of Private Client for Guernsey and the Isle of Man. In his expanded role, Bailey will lead the Guernsey business and continue to oversee its private client strategy across Guernsey and the Isle of Man. Before Ocorian, he was Group Head of Private Wealth at Belasko, based in Guernsey.
ZEDRA has appointed Cameron Senior as Regional Head of its Crown Dependencies business. Senior joined the Jersey-based fund administrator as Deputy Regional Head for the region in January 2026, and brings more than 25 years of international banking and financial services experience to the role. Steven Bowen will transition from leading the Crown Dependencies business to a non-executive director role for Jersey and Guernsey, while also undertaking consultancy and advisory work.
US-based Bridgepoint Investment Banking has appointed Ken Wasik as Managing Director, Consumer, based in New York. Wasik brings more than 25 years of middle-market investment banking experience focused on the consumer sector. He joins from Capstone Partners where he was Co-Head of Investment Banking and Head of Consumer Investment Banking. He previously held roles at UBS, Houlihan Lokey, Jefferies, and Stephens Investment Bank.
