Venture Capital Q4 2024: Preqin Quarterly Update

VC deal value in Q4 2024 trends up to a level not seen since the start of 2022, offering a positive signal for investors in 2025.

• VC saw 279 exits, reaching $23.6bn in aggregate exit value 

• The number of deals rose slightly, to 3,982, with aggregate deal value at $87.4bn  

• Fundraising remained soft, with 207 funds raising an aggregate value of $20.6bn, driven by weakness in APAC and Europe
