Real Estate Q2 2023: Preqin Quarterly Update

Private equity real estate capital raising surged to $57bn in the second quarter of 2023, above the $46bn quarterly average achieved since 2018. However, the number of funds closed fell during the quarter, marking the second consecutive quarterly drop.
