Private equity has once again, so far, proved itself in the face market uncertainty despite a slowdown in fundraising and deal activity in Europe. Investors are certainly undeterred, planning to increase allocation sizes. Emerging markets in particular are attracting investor attention, with a slowdown of deals in Europe but an increase in Asia.
