Preqin Quarterly Update: Private Debt, Q1 2022

Fundraising has slowed down since the same time last year. This could be due to investor views on inflation and if they see the current period as a temporary spike or a prolonged surge, the latter meaning they might want to dial down private debt commitments. But funds in market looks more positive, with an increase in aggregate capital targeted compared to Q1 2021.
