Hedge funds' positive momentum slowed in Q3, ending in losses in aggregate. However, individual strategies did not generally struggle – macro (+1.83%), relative value (+0.77%), credit (+0.57%), event driven (+0.52%), and CTAs (+0.77%) all experienced a positive quarter, with equity (-1.42%), and multi-strategy (-0.55%) the only negative categories.
