At Preqin, we’re committed to developing new features and enhancing existing ones to further streamline and optimize your workflows. This month, our updates include:

• Private lending benchmarks for levered and unlevered funds

• Enhanced transparency on investor ESG mandates

• The ability to filter fund administrators by services provided

• A new ‘Save search’ feature in Term Intelligence

• A new ‘Performance Summary’ table in Preqin Indices

Evaluate the performance of levered and unlevered direct lending funds

Conduct detailed due diligence and like-for-like comparisons with access to private lending benchmarks for levered and unlevered fund performance. With this addition, you can now evaluate and analyze direct lending performance more accurately.

To explore this new feature added to Private Capital Benchmarks, simply navigate to the 'Benchmarks' tab in Preqin Pro, select ‘Private Capital Benchmarks’, and then ‘Strategy’ to find ‘Private Debt – Direct Lending – Levered or Unlevered’.

Enhanced transparency on investor ESG mandates

We’ve expanded the details on current investor ESG mandates to include ESG fund labels, as well as ESG strategies and themes. This update makes it easier for fund managers to quickly assess whether a mandate aligns with their sustainable investing goals. As a result, fund managers can create more targeted shortlists and streamline their outreach, accelerating the fundraising process.

Clients with Preqin ESG Solutions can access investor ESG mandates via the ESG dashboard.

Filter fund administrators by services provided

You can now filter fund administrators by services provided – such as fund establishment services, fund services, reporting and data, and fiduciary services. Users can easily search for fund administrators based on the specific services they require, making it quicker to identify the right one for you.

To start using this new feature, simply navigate to the ‘Fund Administrators’ page on Preqin Pro and filter by ‘Services Provided’.

Term Intelligence save search

Start where you left off by saving your filter selections with the new ‘Save search’ feature in Term Intelligence. You can easily switch between your saved searches, enabling you to speed up your exploration process, and delete them when they’re no longer needed.

To make the most of this feature, simply set the filters for the search you would like to save then click ‘Save search’ in the right-hand corner. You can visit your saved searches by clicking ‘Load search’ and selecting the desired filter.

New ‘Performance Summary’ view available for Preqin Indices

Access index returns over different timeframes to evaluate performance more quickly and streamline your reporting.

The new ‘Performance Summary’ table showcases periodic and annualized percentage returns for all Preqin Indices, enabling you to use the data in your analysis and reports without any additional calculations.

New strategy indices added to real estate, infrastructure, and private debt

Five new indices have been added to Preqin Indices within our asset class groups, bringing you more insight into asset class performance by strategy. The new indices include:

• Private Debt – Direct Lending (All)

• Real Estate – Core Plus

• Infrastructure – Core

• Infrastructure – Core Plus

• Infrastructure – Value Added
