The Fund Forecast tool gives you the flexibility to engage with GPs when it best suits your strategy - far ahead of a fund’s anticipated launch or closer to the projected date - by providing clear visibility into expected fundraising timelines.
What’s included in the new Fund Forecast?
Improved methodology: Our sophisticated forecasting model estimates new fund launches in a series based on remaining dry powder and deployment speed. This is an improvement on the previous forecasting model that primarily leveraged the average time between historical funds in a series.
Larger number of funds: The number of funds increased from about 600 in the legacy Fundraising Calendar to roughly 3,700 in the new Fund Forecast.
Increased data visibility: The Fund Forecast tool includes data points on dry powder, deployment speed, fund administrator, law firm, placement agent, auditor, CRD number, and average time between funds.
