Wittelsbacher Ausgleichsfonds is a foundation based in Bavaria, Germany. The foundation's purpose is primarily to preserve what were previously the assets of the Wittelsbach family, formerly the Bavarian royal family, for the benefit of the public including art, castles and forests. The foundation provides permanent economic provisions for members of the Wittelsbach family. It was founded when assets belonging to the House of Wittelsbach were transferred to the foundation in agreement with the Bavarian state.
