Vida Security

Established in 1928, Vida Security is a Chile-based insurance company that offers various insurance products and services. In 1990, the primary ownership of Seguros Previsión Vida and Seguros Previsión Generales was acquired by the French company AGF, revitalizing both organizations. In 1995, Previsión was acquired by Grupo Security. Consolidating the domestic market and creating items catered to a broader range of market segments depend on this. In 2002, Seguros Previsión Vida changed its name to Vida Security. In 2006, Interrentas was fully acquired by Grupo Security. Following the procedure, the business becomes Security Rentas Seguros de Vida SA, and Vida Security takes over as administrator. On June 2007, Vida Security and Rentas Security merged. After that, in August, Cigna Compaa de Seguros de Vida sold its Chilean operations to Vida Security. In September 2025, Chilean financial group BICE acquired Security and integrated all of its operations and businesses, including Vida Security.Read more ⏷
