It is located in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, and was renamed to its current on December 31, 2022, following different pension plan mergers. The plan was previously known as the Retirement Plan of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Presbyterian Medical Center and the Pennsylvania Hospital. The University of Pennsylvania Health System is a Pennsylvania-based health system founded in 1993. It operates a network of hospitals, multispecialty centers, and other healthcare facilities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
