About

The UNICare Retirement Plan is a defined-benefit plan that covers all salaried full-time and part-time employees of Unilever United States, Inc., as well as certain other subsidiaries and affiliates, who have completed at least one year of service. The plan excludes employees covered by separate collective bargaining agreements, leased employees, and non-resident aliens with no U.S.-source income. UniCare focuses on health services and aims to deliver improved healthcare outcomes to its members while supporting community health initiatives. UniCare’s self-funded plans are administered by UniCare Life & Health Insurance Company or UniCare Health Plans of the Midwest, Inc. Insurance coverage is provided by UniCare Life & Health Insurance Company, UniCare Health Insurance Company of the Midwest, UniCare Health Plans of the Midwest, Inc., UniCare Health Insurance Company of Texas, or UniCare Health Plans of Texas, Inc.
