The Generation Foundation, founded in 1997, focuses on supporting entrepreneurial, non-profit start-ups and initiatives that contribute to improving the quality of life in Northeast Ohio. The grants awarded are usually venture-philanthropic, catalytic and collaborative. The foundation also has a cross-generation Board of Trustees, as it dedicates itself to teaching Cleveland’s philanthropic tradition to younger generations.
