Established in 1986, Colony Group is a US-based wealth manager. It provides investment advisory services to its clients on both discretionary and non-discretionary basis. Its services include investment management, portfolio management, financial planning, investment planning, retirement planning, tax planning, estate planning, cash flow planning, philanthropic planning, education planning, and risk management. The wealth manager advises individuals, family offices, trusts, institutions, charitable foundations, and retirement & profit-sharing plans. In 2012, Mintz Levin merged with Boston-based Colony Group, the merged firms would continue to operate under the Colony Group name. The firm moved into Colony Group's offices. In 2013, Colony merged with Prosper Advisors, LLC. Then the firm merged with CapGroup Advisors with the merged entities again assuming The Colony Group as its name on March 1, 2015. On January 1, 2018, Colony merged with Blue Water Advisors, LLC, a Babylon-based investment advisory firm founded in 2014, and with Bridgewater Wealth & Financial Management, LLC, a Bethesda-based investment advisory firm founded in 1996. Jones Barclay Boston & Co. has merged into Colony Group. On 01 July 2021, The Colony Group acquired New Providence Asset Management a US-based asset manager. In August 2021, Colony Group announced the acquisition of Legacy Wealth Partners in Calabasas, California.Read more ⏷
