Thales UK Pension Scheme — overview

About

The Thales UK Pension Scheme is a UK-based private sector defined benefit pension scheme providing retirement and death benefits to its members. The scheme is divided into Section 1 and Section 2 and is administered by Equiniti. In December 2023, the scheme completed a GBP 2.7 billion bulk annuity buy-in with Rothesay, covering the liabilities of over 16,000 members. Following the transaction, the scheme’s benefits are insured, and it is progressing through de-risking and transition activities.
