About

Thales UK Pension Scheme is a private sector pension fund based in the UK. The scheme is a defined benefit scheme and provides retirement, pension, and death benefits to its members. It is split into two sections: Section 1 and Section 2. It is administered by Equiniti. In December 2023, the pension fund secured a GBP2.7 billion buy-in with Rothesay securing the benefits of over 16,000 members. As of July 10 2025 the buy out process has been completed and the pensions have been transferred to Rothesay. For deferred memebers with DC/AVC benefits the pensions have been transferred to Smart Pensions.
