Tangerine Investment Management was formed in May 2007 by the director, Tim Schools, to act as a broker for legal financing. During November 2012, Tangerine Investment Management was removed from its role as investment manager to the Axiom Legal Financing Fund. In February 2014, the fund was then placed into receivership and Tangerine Investment Management was ordered to pay 60 per cent of Axiom’s costs of the receivership application.
