About

Swiss Re Private Equity Partners AG was a subsidiary of Swiss Re and was responsible for fund investments in the areas of private equity, infrastructure, sustainability and real estate. Overall, the team managed investments of approximately USD 7.5 billion in various investment programmes, structured secondary transactions and customized mandates. The 45 specialists followed a global approach involving the selection of primary funds and co-investments as well as active portfolio management through secondary market transactions. The team managed around 350 fund investments and maintained more than 150 active relationships with fund managers worldwide. All investment programs were available exclusively to institutional investors. As of September 2012, Swiss Re Private Equity Partners had been integrated into BlackRock Private Equity Partners following BlackRock's acquisition of the firm.
