About

StoneWater Capital was a specialised asset management firm based in New York. The firm was founded in 2004 by a small group of former partners at private equity firm Warburg Pincus as a vehicle for investing their own funds. As such the firm took a unique approach to investing and the main objective is to preserve and grow capital by investing in public markets through equity managers that resemble private equity investors. StoneWater Capital took a significant stake in the firm's funds alongside additional capital invested in the funds by clients. In Q1 2016, Stonewater merged its operations with <a href="/user/hf/investor_details.aspx?firmID=11893">Berens Capital Management</a>
