St. Olaf College is a private liberal arts college located in Northfield, Minnesota. It was founded by Norwegian American immigrant pastors and farmers, led by Pastor Bernt Julius Muus. The college was named after King Olaf II of Norway, the patron saint, and is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The college’s financial assets are primarily held in the St. Olaf Endowment, which is managed daily by the Investment Office in accordance with policies and practices approved by the Board of Regents.
