It is a subsidiary of and has affiliates including Sirius America, Sirius International, and OneBeacon Insurance Group. Its parent Insurance Group, White Mountains sold Sirius Group to China Minsheng Investment Corp in 2016. However, China Minsheng Investment Group (CMIG) sold Sirius Group to Third Point Re in 2021. Together, Third Point Re & Sirius Group formed the company name 'SiriusPoint'.
