Shanghai Pudong Hi-tech Investment (PDHTI) engages in private equity and venture capital investments, as well as the management of industry and government guidance funds based in Shanghai, China. It was split from Shanghai Pudong Science and Technology Investment (PDSTI). Following the separation of operations, PDHTI handles PDSTI's existing private equity portfolio, with the latter focusing on secondary market transactions, overseas buyout and securities investments. It expands its operations by raising CNY-denominated and USD-denominated fund of funds vehicles from third party investors. It invests in a diversified range of industries, including consumer discretionary, energy, healthcare, industrials, information technology and real estate in China. Shanghai Pudong Science and Technology Investment (PDSTI) is a state-owned venture investment company. It aims to promote the growth of venture companies, with a special focus on the science and technology sector, and the development of legislation governing venture investments in Shanghai Pudong New Area. Serving as an investment platform for Shanghai Pudong New Area Government, it invests in accordance with the development strategy as specified by China’s State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) and Shanghai Pudong New Area Government.Read more ⏷
