About

Société Générale Asset Management (SGAM) was the global investment management division of the bank, Société Générale. As of September 2009, SGAM Alternative Investments (SGAM AI) was absorbed into SGAM, and its private equity activities have became directly linked to SGAM, known as SGAM Private Equity (SGAM PE). In December 2009, SGAM Private Equity and Crédit Agricole Asset Management Capital Investors merged to form Amundi Private Equity Funds, a subsidiary of Amundi Asset Management. Amundi Private Equity Funds now manages all private equity funds previously raisied by SGAM Private Equity as well as its private equity investment portfolio.
