Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) was formerly owned by Lloyds Banking Group and managed the SWIP Private Equity Fund of Funds II. In November 2013, Lloyds Banking Group announced that it was to sell Scottish Widows Investment Partnership to Aberdeen Asset Management. The sale was concluded in March 2014.
