About

Retirement Benefits Fund (RBF) is the public sector superannuation scheme for Tasmania, Australia. The scheme was established in 1904 and provides retirement benefits for both present and future members. JANA Investment Advisers provides asset consultation services to RBF. In July 2015, the Tasmanian Government made an announcement of the proposed merger of three Tasmanian public and private superannuation funds, namely RBF, Quadrant Super and Tasplan, into one superannuation scheme. In November 2015, Quadrant Super merged with Tasplan. RBF is expected to complete its merger with Tasplan in March 2017.
