About

RBC Capital Partners (RBCP) is the Canada-based investment arm of the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). The firm invests across private equity, private debt, real estate, infrastructure, natural resources, and hedge funds. Its private equity division focuses on growth, buyout, and expansion investments, while RBC Ventures—the venture capital subsidiary of RBC—targets early-stage and venture capital opportunities. The debt arm primarily invests in mezzanine and senior secured loans in North American companies, with a focus on sectors such as fintech, AI, data analytics, commerce and payments, information security, enterprise IT, marketing, and customer experience. The real estate division pursues opportunistic and value-added investments, including acquisitions and developments across residential, commercial, and other property types.
