Pennsylvania Turnpike Retiree Medical Trust was established by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission as an irrevocable trust, tax-exempt under the Internal Revenue Code in order to provide post-employment benefits (defined benefit) other than pensions for eligible retirees and their dependents. The benefits funded by the trust include certain post-employment medical, prescription drug, dental and vision benefits to management and supervisory union employees.
