Northampton Township Police Pension Plan, established on May 11, 1966, is a single-employer defined benefit pension plan locally controlled by the provisions of Ordinance No. 563, adopted pursuant Act 600. Northampton Township Non-Uniformed Pension Plan, established on January 3, 1967, is a single-employer defined benefit pension plan locally controlled by the provisions of Ordinance No. 548. It is overseen by the Northampton Township Board of Supervisors, and its Police and Non-Uniformed Pension Advisory Committees.
