About

Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management (PWM) is a division of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney (MSSB). PWM provides advisory programs through MSSB, via a channel that previously provided investment advisory services as Morgan Stanley. It provides wealth management services on two bases, the wealth management services program and the discretionary management program. The wealth management services program works on a non-discretionary basis and is comprised of providing asset allocation and investment advice. The discretionary management program manages client assets on a discretionary basis. The services are offered to individuals, high-net-worth individuals, banking or thrift institutions, investment companies, charitable organizations, state or municipal government entities, insurance companies, and corporations.
