About

Morgan Stanley Global Wealth Management Group (GWMG) provided investment and financial services to individual investors globally through a network of more than 8,000 financial advisors in over 400 offices across the US. Specific services it offered included: brokerage and investment advisory services, financial and wealth planning, credit and lending, banking and cash management, annuities and insurance, retirement and trust. Morgan Stanley's Global Wealth Management Group has since merged with Citi's Smith Barney, at the time creating a new wealth management group (Morgan Stanley Smith Barney). In 2012, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney's wealth management arm was renamed Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.
