Memorial Hermann Health System is a not-for-profit hospital system in Houston, Texas, and consists of hospitals, cancer centers, heart & vascular institutes, and sports medicine and rehabilitation centers, in addition to other outpatient and rehabilitation centers. It was formed in the late 1990s when the Memorial Healthcare System and Hermann Hospital merged. Both the Memorial and Hermann healthcare systems started in the early 1900s. The foundation is a non-profit entity with a vision to create healthier communities through improved health.
