Los Angeles Fire and Police Pension System (LAFPP) administers a defined retirement plan benefits for all full-time active sworn police officers and firefighters of the City of Los Angeles. LAFPP provides disability benefits under certain conditions and benefits to eligible survivors and post-retirement health subsidy benefits for eligible members and their partners. The system’s services also include pre-retirement and retirement counseling and medical and dental plan administration assistance.
