About

Lasair Capital was founded in 2008 by Carrie McCabe, a veteran of Blackstone and FRM, in a strategic relationship with a Fortune 10 pension trust that is a pioneer in the alternative investment industry. Utilizing a unique long/short equity strategy, the firm was created to provide institutional investors with attractive risk adjusted returns and to develop a real partnership with managers and investors. In Q3 2012, Lasair Capital decided to wind down its existing portfolio of hedge fund investments. However, despite this, the firm was to continue its day-to-day operations.
