Kumpulan Wang Persaraan

Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (KWAP) is a public pension fund based in Malaysia. The institution acts as a benefit plan that caters to the retirement of the country’s civil servants. Established under the Retirement Fund Act 2007, it replaced the Pensions Trust Fund which was set up in 1991. The Malaysia-based investor manages contributions from the federal government, statutory bodies, local authorities, and other government agencies. It is responsible for the administration, management, and investment of the fund in equity, fixed income securities, money market instruments, and other forms of investment permitted under the Act, as well as the management and payment of pensions.
