About

Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) is a government-owned sovereign wealth fund. It manages assets entrusted to it by the Korean Government, the Bank of Korea, and other entities as defined under the National Finance Act. The main objective of KIC is to enhance South Korea’s national wealth and long-term purchasing power by investing some of its foreign currency reserves to attract foreign financial institutions to the country and subsequently contribute to the advancement of South Korea’s financial industry.
