Key Asset Management — overview

About

Key Asset Management was an asset management company, which was founded in 1989. The firm's objective since inception was to achieve long-term capital appreciation while managing risk. KAM was based in London but also had offices in Oslo, Stockholm, Geneva and New York and managed and advised in a range of hedge fund products for both institutional and private clients. In January 2008, Key Asset Management was acquired by SEB, one of the largest Scandinavian financial groups, from its previous owners. In 2012, Key Asset Management was merged with the SEB alternative investment team and is no longer active as a separate firm.
