About

Hospital Authority Provident Fund Scheme is a public pension scheme based in Hong Kong. The firm is a defined contribution pension scheme providing benefits to permanent employees of Hong Kong Hospital Authority (HKHA). It is run by trustees appointed by the scheme’s sponsor, HKHA. HKHA was established in order to manage all public hospitals in Hong Kong. It is an independent organization, which is accountable to the government through the Secretary for Health and Welfare. The primary function of HKHA is to advise the government on what is required to adequately satisfy the public with respect to the provision of hospital services and the resources needed. HKHA is responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of secondary and tertiary specialist care and medical rehabilitation through its network of health care facilities.
