About

HDI Global is an insurance company based in Hannover, Germany. It was created following the acquisition of the operative companies of the Gerling Group by Talanx Group in 2005. Talanx acts as a financial and management holding company in five segments: primary property/casualty insurance, primary life insurance, property reinsurance, personal-risk reinsurance, and financial services. In the private and corporate insurance segments, the HDI and HDI-Gerling brands were combined under the 'new old brand' HDI in September 2012. The industrial insurance division of Talanx AG has been managed by HDI Global SE since 2016. The assets of HDI Global are managed by Ampega Asset Management.
